The Avatar is the monster behemoth of the Amarr Empire, as it is one of the Titans in the EVE Universe.
The first Avatar (or Titan for that matter) reported to be in existance was constructed by Celestial Horizon Corporation and the Ascendant Frontier alliance. It's pilot was CLS CEO and ASCN Leader CYVOK, until its destruction by Band of Brothers
There are currently over 20 Avatar titans in game, with the majority belonging to Band of Brothers. Beside the ASCN Avatar loss, 3 other Avatars have been lost: Shrike of Band of Brothers on June 22nd 2007, lord 2evil of Imperial Republic of the North on August 22nd 2008, and Brennan Mulwray of Tau Ceti Federation on August 27th 2008.
