Drone bandwidth

Drone bandwidth is a representation of the communications bandwidth available on a ship for sending information back and forth to active drones.

It acts as a third limit (the others are drone skills and the size of the ship's drone bay) to the number and quality of active drones that may be fielded. It has no effect on the number of drones that are able to be stored in a drone bay, and as such allows spare drones to be carried as replacements for drones that are destroyed in combat.

Gallente drone boats tend to have excess drone bandwidth for ships of their size, allowing for heavier drones than normal, while Amarr drone boats tend to have excess drone bay size for ships of their size and limited bandwidth, allowing for several waves of smaller drones to be carried.
