Is it me or does this sentence "If it matches the weapon signature resolution, or the resolution is larger than the signature, every shot will hit the target. If the signature is smaller than the resolution, shots will miss proportionally to the difference in area" contradict itself ?
I'd suggest "If it matches the weapon signature resolution, or the resolution is smaller than the signature..."
- This isn't quite what happens. The amount of damage done is proportional to the ships signature radius divided by the weapon sig resolution never going above 100%. If you let you interdictor sit at 0 m/s to eliminate tracking factors then an NPC cruiser seems to hit 100% of the time but for small amounts.
